What to Expect
Tsavo East National Park: Known for its vast open spaces and large herds of elephants, Tsavo East is Kenya’s largest national park. Visitors can expect to see lions, leopards, buffalo, and a wide variety of birdlife. The park is also famous for its red-dust elephants, which roll in the iron-oxide soil. The Aruba Dam on the Voi River is a popular spot for wildlife viewing.
Day 1 - Diani Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park
Our safari driver guide will meet you at the hotel reception at 06.00hrs to start of the drive to Tsavo. After a short trip briefing before departure drive off to Tsavo via the Mombasa – Nairobi highway arriving at Bachuma Gate Tsavo East. Check-in to the park and begin with the first game drive en-route to the lodge. The driver will open up the roof hatch of the safari vehicle for better wildlife viewing. This game drive will expose you to herds of Elephants and the man-eaters of Tsavo or even animals like Buffaloes, Cheetahs, Giraffe, Antelopes, Leopards and many more. Proceed to the safari lodge/ luxury camp for lunch and check-in. After check-in and lunch you’re your rest till 16.00Hrs when you will embark on an evening game drive till dinner time. Later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight Dinner and overnight at Voi Safari Lodge / Voi Wildlife Lodge or lodge/Camp of the same class.
